That is the first multi-petaled MG I've ever seen....gorgeous!!!
“Little girl, why are you doing this? You can’t save all these starfish. You can’t begin to make a difference!” After a few moments thought, she bent down, picked up another starfish & hurled it as far as she could into the ocean. Then she looked up at the man and replied, “Well, I made a difference to that one!” Be the change you wish to see in the world. http://www.stillsthatspeak.com...

I am just amazed!! Do you grow these all in pots or in the ground?

Chantell, I grow all the perennials in pots, and maybe 99% of the annuals in pots, too.

Kadie, it is sterile and doesn't make seeds, unfortunately. At present time I am reluctant to disturb the roots.

Ipomoea nil 'Narumigata' made many flowers today. The lavender is attractive in combination with the yellow leaves.

I was just going to ask how you were growing all these... I see deck boards/railings in some of your photos. If you think of it, would love to see a "garden" photo of your MG containers!

They're all stunning, but that multi-petaled one... wow! I'm wondering if you could root cuttings of it for "insurance," so you have a second plant.

Not quite on topic, but is there any chance we can convince you to swing up toward DC for the Fall Swap this year? I know it's a trek, but at least Rockville is a little closer than Frederick!

Thanks, Jill. They are all in pots, so it isn't very exciting seeing a container farm.

I don't think I'll be able to attend the swap, unfortunately. Thanks for the suggestion.
