Thread OP

Hi, I am visitor from New Zealand and I am really keen on visiting any lily gardens-commercial or otherwise. Am on a motorcycle trip riding from Fargo , ND to Minneapolis, MN; but having said that I am flexible in where to go. We leave this area on the 13th to Los Angeles for a couple of days. Was hoping that there are some botanical gardens or the suchlike with a variety of lilies. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Am guessing from info that I have read on the internet that the Orientals are just coming out- I have been looking around the Fargo Moorhead areas and have not had much luck in spying any lilies at all! Thanks very much for any help / leads you can give me.

Sadly, the lilies are pretty much over with in Utah by now. It's very hot and dry there these days.

I just got back from visiting my kids in Salt Lake and even their daylilies are winding down in the summer heat.

I hope you have several months to tour around the US, Kathryn. There's a lot to see in the way of gardens. If you start in the northern tier states, you could finish up in Florida by December.
