Hello everyone I have a few hardy orange trees for sale. They are known as Poncirus trifoliata aka Hardy orange or Trifoliate Orange. Recommended for zone 6 and up but many people including the Missouri Botanical Garden rate them as being even more cold hardy and able to live in zone 5b without any issues.

Thumb of 2016-07-30/ediblelandscapingsc/fa85c8
The plants are 15-18 inches tall in 1 gallon pots.
Price is $25 for 1
or
$40 for 2
shipping is $15 and I can fit up to 2 per box

For more info about these hardy citrus trees please check out this video.

The fruits are small and seedy but make a great marmalade or lemonade type drink and the peel is also often candied. The juice is also great on fish or chicken with a little pepper and a dash of garlic, however the fruits are not great for fresh eating as it's sour like a lemon with bitter undertones.

These trees Make a great landscape plant and thrives in all soil types. They are pests & diseases resistant low maintenance plants and will grow well in part shade - full sun. They can be grown as a tree with a single trunk or cut back really hard to make a lovely and impenetrable hedge to both man and animal.

Sweet smelling white flowers in spring and lush green growth during the growing season. Poncirus trifoliata is a deciduous citrus tree and has lovely yellow foliage in Fall. The fruits hang well on the tree some all the way into winter and the plant is sure to turn heads during all 4 seasons.

I accept both PayPal and money orders, sorry no checks. please send me a tree-mail if interested in any and I'll be happy to give you my PayPal or mailing address. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.

They are pure Poncirus trifoliata from a friend in TN. They haven't been around anything else but other PT's. However they do not need another one to set fruit, they are a 100% self fertile.
