You know, sometimes I think some Orchids have a specific life span too. No matter what you do, you notice a steady decline, impossible to stop.

I agree that is why I am Ms Divide, this way I have insurance when the mother one says time to go.

I hear you, Gigi! Smiling

Still very nice blooms, Lindsey!

I got some stuff here and there in bloom. This hanging shrubbery here is Jumellea comorensis, its main flowering time is usually during Fall into Winter, but I see single blooms year around.

Ursula, Interesting form on the Jumellea comorensis, and The 'Blue Star' is always beautiful.

Lindsey, Love your 'Rustic spots'. That Eplc. should come with sun glasses!

Hilarious! I'm repotting many of mine into net baskets, so I can just plop them in the next size without disturbing them, and the baskets can sit on a shelf until the roots get too out of hand. I've got more shelf space than hanging space. Sighing!

Oo, love the spotty one, Lindsey and your Volcano Trick sure did recover its posture. Good job on the staking. It's gorgeous.

The little Jumellea is a really cool flower, Ursula and a magnificent plant. I guess you don't have to think about re-potting any more? Hilarious!

So glad you found your Zygo while it was in bloom, Alice. The plant looks pretty darn good for having been abandoned in the jungle for a couple of months.

Ted, I can pinpoint it to buying it in 2004. Here are some pics from 2005 and 2006. It is still growing upright in those pics!

It is a Darwinara. Actually this one has been renamed to Vandachostylis, but Darwinara still flows a bit easier over my tongue/brain.

It looks like y'all are in for an awful lot of rain/storms, Lindsey. It is pouring here during a thunderstorm, but our rain is just the typical afternoon TS generated by heat and humidity.
