Both are from Maryott's and both were planted about a month ago, and I have two more from that order that are putting up scapes!

FFE on this Laura Harwood X Smoke Scream seedling. The color and form are rather common, but I like the fact that it is a late bloomer (although I work mainly with midseason bloomers) and I like the prominent veining in the petals.

Bitten Ag'in and Poem of Ecstasy (which was a gift) are both putting up new scapes. I am shocked and extremely pleased that Poem of Ecstacy is putting up a new scape. When it arrived, the one fan that is putting up a scape already had two scapes on it that had been cut back for shipment! It seems like it must be a prolific rebloomer

I have a rebloom scape on Gale Storm which is not listed as a rebloomer 😊

Gorgeous blooms everyone! Char I can't tell you how many times I lose what I just put in when I hit a wrong button I have this blooming today but spent most of the day planting new flowers and moving some plants between the sun and shade. Gorgeous day!!!

A few days ago we had the LFO on 'Winning Note'. Today (you've already seen pictures) are blooms on the sole rebloom scapes on 'Tuscawilla Tranquility' and 'Beautiful Edgings', and also the penultimate bloom on 'December Wedding'. I'm really going to be sad to see the end of bloom on that one... the edge is IMHO really neat, sort of a soft lemon (I can't really see it as gold), with a bit of gilt silver (in places) at the very outermost edge. It's an elegant, beautiful, subtle, not overly-large or overly-done edge, just what I like. (Sorry, not a big fan of chicken fat edges, toothy edges (frightening!), or very large edges here...)

On the plus side, I discovered another scape coming up on 'Nancy Billingslea'. She is in a tremendously bad bed, hard clay, dry, afternoon sun... the only things that grow there (except under shade) are very drought tolerant, and not always then. I had almost given up on her. I'm thinking of tearing out some struggling plants from the sunny spots in that bed (including another daylily) and putting in bearded irises. I think 'Nancy' is going to stay, though.

According to my stats this should be Painted Trillium (I know I have this one). The other option for scape and bloom is Bela Lugosi but that's too dark

Yes, I can say after being out West, I looked forward to seeing big trees and green lawns! I sure hate that so many have to deal with so much drought.

Mike has an amazing yard! Puts my chaotic garden to shame!

My Laura Harwood did not bloom yet this year and must be pouting since last September when I acquired 4 fans. Hopefully, next year she will bloom for me.
