I am seeing a lot of Butterflies around the flowers lately so I thought we might show our photos of the blooms and the butterflies.

The Mexican Sunflower is currently my best attractor for butterflies, the lantana when it was growing in the ground used to be my best. But now, even though it is huge but growing in a pot, it does not seem be draw as much attention.
Some photos from this morning.

This one is several weeks old (I hope that's OK!), taken on a hike at Mount Magazine, AR during our mini-vacation. It's always fun to visit different regions of the country to see the varying plants and critters. I was hoping to see a bear (we don't have any in our part of TX), but I was content to see lots of butterflies and deer.

Beautiful photos, Seedfork and Jezer. Lovey dubby Thanks for sharing. Also Welcome! to the SE Gardening forum. Feel free to comment and post photos as you wish. We love photos of all things gardening. Thumbs up I haven't been able to spend much time outdoors to catch photos, due to the heat and high humidity aggravating asthma problems. But it's a tad cooler now, and I may be able to spend a little more time out to take some photos.
