I recently bought some seeds from Spunky1. So excited about them because I really like the Ultimate Sacrifice daylily and this cross has it as the pod parent:
THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE XBUDDYS SPOOK. I read somewhere crossing red with blue will produce bluer daylily. Hopefully, this will give me a blue daylily. Crossing Fingers! Crossing Fingers!

The Ultimate Sacrifice is one I have really admired, I'm not familiar with Buddys spook, but I bet it will make a nice plant. I've never gotten the courage to try the lily auction, I'm afraid I wouldn't be able to stop buying.

The LA is very addictive. I try to stick to my ''max bid'' unless it's something I really NEED (lol) to have. This resulted in me growing over 500 seedlings this summer Rolling on the floor laughing

I agree with you @Mayo62. @judydu2 is a great seller. I just recently purchased my first seeds ever from the LA from her. Her bonuses are awesome...she sent me seeds that I had bid on but lost as my bonuses Angel Lovey dubby

I have an organic repellant for the LA. She's called my DW.
Every time I log in it's like she has a 6th sense, and comes out of nowhere to say, get out of that LA! Rolling on the floor laughing

I ordered some of Fred's seeds crossed with Buddy's Spook this year. As soon as they were in hand I had them soaking in well water and H2O2, with in 5 days they started to germinate. They are in peat plugs now and already have green bursting out... So excited! Hurray!

There are great seeds and a good way to add some genetics without buying the daylily. My issue is that I have a thousand plus pods of my own that I can't take care of fast enough. We do have lots of nice seedlings from seeds we bought. Thumbs up
I would be really excited about those seeds from Fred if I had them.

I have a few of my own that I am setting this year as well. But with only 50 or so, it very, very small time. I scored 4 different crosses from Fred and they've all germinated. They are sending up their first green foliage and will be planted in a new seedling bed in September. Hopefully the reveal will be everything I think they will.

Guess who also scored some of @judydu2 's seeds this weekend? It seems the DW was occupied with something and I took advantage while her radar was turned off. Rolling on the floor laughing

Valerie, it could be that she was honed in on something else. So, I guess its what I refer to as stealth mode. Whistling
