That was so funny! I love it!! I'd have to join all three categories!

Hi Linda! Welcome! Group hug

I have some friends on the way to visit from Utah, and I think we'll have Tomato Rita's too! Hilarious! Tomato Rita's sounds so much better than Tomato Natalie's. Rolling on the floor laughing

Edited to say, this wasn't supposed to be on this thread! Yikes! Sorry about that. It was meant to go on The Porch Swing

Natalie and Valerie, we plan to do the same sooner or later. It's not a shining moment for our finance but maybe next year something will improve and we want a house for us only, with a real garden, lot of space and a garage because my DH loves to work on motorcycles too!

I don't know what's wrong with some people. Here there are 10 apartments, 10 families. And it's always a fight against each other, for stupid questions.

We stay out of everything when possible. There's an old lady spying behind her curtain all day long. And houses are so close to each other that sometimes I give up going out to check my plants because there's always someone minding my business instead of theirs!!!

Group hug Sabrina. I know how you feel, and it's horrible. We had a neighbor at our last house that was always hanging over the top of the fence. We couldn't even enjoy our yard because of her, and we had a privacy fence all the way around. I still would have moved, but she lit a fire under us to get it done sooner rather than later. I hope you find the perfect home, with the perfect garage, with lots and lots of privacy!

Uh Natalie I would have slammed her in the face with a broomstick! Well maybe not, but I can't understand why someone would act like that. I walk by neighbours gardens and I swear I don't know what they have in there!

The moment to part from some DLs is coming, probably in two days I'll go to see my friend and since I see her once in an year I'll have to dig and bring some plants with me. One is reblooming, I was thinking of being brave and leave scape intact. First I need to hear from my friend if she can plant them right away or not. Is it too hazardous?

I'd like a bigger garden but when I go out to weed and do little chores my back aches reminding me maybe a big garden it's too much!

I must join aspiring hoarder. Who the heck else would find themselves with 154 daylilies in just the first year of acquiring them? They're crammed into beds just 8" apart and already beginning to crowd each other. I have to find a way for my son to build yet another bed...that makes #5 daylily bed!

Barb you're not an aspiring hoarder, you're a proved hoarder! I am aspiring. I only have 13 cultivars and total 20 plants. Much crowded than yours!

So, here they are. With the help of DH I managed to take out of their bed four plants. Two have three fans each. One has scapes on it and I'm leaving it like this, tomorrow (11:30 PM now) at 2 PM I'll be at my friend's and we'll plant the adult plants. Seedling and prolifs will stay in pots I guess, I'd plant them in the ground but there's no hurry for her to do it as soon as I arrive.

I dug the duplicate plants I had in the most crowded bed, so the remaining can have more light and air. I still have a bed to work on but there's no rush as well, I'll plan with calm.

She's going to have a nice numbers of plants. Soil in her garden is much better than mine and she has plenty of space.

Thank you!
She and her husband are going to finish today, they had to clean the spot where DLs will go. They have 3 acres of wild ground, so I told them they could really grow DLs and maybe create their own. She said they are going to see how it goes with the ones I gave her and then decide.

I brought there 30 seedlings from seeds I had from AHS (and still I have a lot), 6 adults plants and two prolifs that rooted well.

I still have to dig 3-4 plants and when I'll do (late august) I will ship them to her. I love to see her but it's a 2 hours and half trip. Not to mention higways costs.
I can't wait to see her pictures when they finish!

Good on you Sabrina. I am a hoarder. I really should get rid of my poor performers and rust buckets. I have only a little yard (900 metres squared) and I have already increased the garden beds this year and it is all gone again. And still many seedlings to plant. Woe is me.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.
