Dear all,
I have this nice little specimen (a Fouquieria for sure) for 7 years, but I do not know which species it may belong to. I am aware that without flower, identification should be difficult, but any help, suggestion or hypothesis is welcome. Thanks in advance.

Not F. columnaris or F. splendens, I think. Beyond that you are in specialist territory. I am curious what you learn. Given the amount of leaves on the plant, it looks like it's about to begin a major growth spurt. Thumbs up

Thanks "Baja Castero" for your answer. Indeed, It is not F. columnaris nor F. splendens. I was guessing it might be F. macdougali (given the colour of the trunk), but I have also seen some young F. digueti that have a relatively similar aspect, so I am a bit lost.
