My 5 adenium have been happy on a sunny windowsill for 4-5 years. Suddenly, I am seeing sunburned spots on the caudex and branchces and on one in particular, practically the entire caudex is discoloring from sun exposure. I keep the clay pots wet from the outside almost daily when it is this hot. Is there a way to protect them since our heat is supposed to be near the century mark the entire month? Or should I just move them? Thanks.

Cheryl,
Although you have had them in the windowsill prior. My experience w Glass greenhouses is that the sun can be magnified through the glass and cause alot of problems, in particular. Burning plants.
My assumption is that.
If you fear that it could get worse, then it would be worth shading them somehow or have them outside in filtered sunlight all day.

Thanks! Oddly enough, the side nearest the glass and screen is green. It is the side facing the sun that is getting scorched. I moved it today so that it will get Morning/early afternoon sun. By 1pm the harshest rays will not reach it. That is just for August when we have our worst heat. Then it will go back and join the others when our heat calms down some. I hope it didn't hurt the plant. I have learned to love all her profuse white blooms.
