The Euphorbia will grow to become an unruly spiny clump of stems over time (I like the look) and makes nice yellow flowers. It is a fascinating subject for macro photography.
The Pachypodium enjoys lots of water this time of year when it is in growth mode. Give much less water in winter when it goes leafless and dormant. If you repot, do it in the spring or early summer, and use soil with good drainage (50% rock, like pumice or perlite). These are trees but they can take quite a few years to get there.
