Well it has been a very nice year. I did not spend as much time with plants this year. I stayed mostly on the deck because of the heat and it was an extremely busy year. Here are yesterdays blooms just a matter of time before we will be surprised with a frost.

Thanks to you Allison. You pixed it 2 years ago I use it sence everywhere. It looked like a small shrun last summer.

it is one of my favs ... but mine did not get huge this year.. think the NC farms cuttings were too small .. have to grow bigger plants inside this year

The KK 's that were planted in the garden got bigger than the ones in containers

I see that... the ones I planted in the garden were the smallest plants.. leftovers from the containers.. guess I will have to put a few bigger ones in the ground and pray the slugs stay away

Ahhhh yes pests.

Just a thought in case you do not know this trick.......Put down tissue under plants where slugs are... they will hide under the paper during the night. Check early in the morning and toss them.

they always seem to get them.. when I am not paying attention

I have used an early spring treatment and cut own on the slug populaion in my hostas.
Mix 1 to 10 parts Household Amonia and Water,pour this around the hosta eyes as they emerge in spring. Sails and slugs hatching at thet time underground wont make it to see the light of day.
It's not a complete cure but the armies of slugs here is smaller han it was.
