This crape myrtle has been in our yard for about 10 years and has only ever had solid white blooms. Look at the color this year. How did this happen?

We have had extremely hot and very humid weather this summer. As much I don't care for the high heat and humidity, it that is what caused this, it's definitely a silver lining, huh? Thumbs up

My white CM starts white and fades to pink. Best of both worlds!

Oh my goodness, that is a most beautiful Crepe Myrtle!! You should add that pretty bloom photo to the database! If you don't know the cultivar name it can go in the general entry for Crepe Myrtles (Lagerstroemia)
