According to an article on the web, Xanthoceras sorbifolia should be X. sorbifolium, referencing the ICBN. The Catalogue of Life still has sorbifolia so that's what we have on NGA. However, it does seem correct that it should be sorbifolium under the code - Article 62.2(c):

"Ex.6. Irrespective of the fact that Aceras R. Br. and Xanthoceras Bunge were treated as feminine when first published, they are neuter."

Sorry this fell through the cracks for a couple of days. I was tempted to leave our entry as it's spelled in the Catalogue of Life for the sake of consistency and wait until the CoL revises its listing, at which time we would revise ours, but it's true that sorbifolia (sorbifolium) is one of the adjectival species names that should agree with the gender of the genus name, so I'll change ours to conform to the general rules of Latin grammar.

Thanks zuzu. Xanthoceras was specifically mentioned in the same Article as being neuter even back in the Tokyo Code, so it's surprising that CoL hasn't caught up yet.
