The complete PNW iris rhizome sale announcement will be posted very soon in the Iris Cubit. I'm currently updating it and making sure all the details are correct.
I'll post the list of available rhizomes as early in the day on Sunday, Sept. 18, as I can. The club sale in Oregon is on the 17th, and they have to inventory and then e-mail the list to me. I'll add links to photos as quickly as I can.
The actual sale will start on Tuesday, Sept.20, with one round in the morning and one in the evening. Half the rhizomes of each cultivar are offered in each round to give those who work, etc., a chance to get their favorites. There are always lots of orders in the first minute or so after I open each round, so pasting your list to the thread and hitting the "finished" button quickly are skills to practice! Some cultivars are in short supply, but there are always many nice ones with enough rhizomes to go around.
I am in Texas but used to help Denise Stewart with this sale when she was online sale chairperson for the club. I have continued to do the online part of the sale for Linda Lowell and Robin Shadlow, the current chairpersons. The real work takes place in Oregon where Linda and Robin pack and ship all those irises!
