I had several terra cotta strawberry planters, but the amount of space I could give them was limited, so I came up with a solution.

I have several strawberry pots that are different sizes. I think I may try a tower with the largest one at the bottom and the smallest one on top. I have never had luck growing strawberries in them so I grow succulents in them. This is a great space saving idea and with limited space growing 'up' instead of 'out' is desirable. It looks good too. Thank you for posting the idea. Smiling

That was a pretty brilliant idea. I never say that something is impossible. I say "it's possible, I just need to figure out how". Looks to me like you figured out how. Brilliant. I tip my hat to you.

I also, have never had luck growing strawberries in them, just cannot get enough water to them. Love the concept, but it just don't work. I, like you, have resorted to succulents in my jar, and they thrive!

I grew strawberries on a tiny hill many years ago. I never realized that they sent out runners. I learned something new today. I may try this. Thanks for sharing. Thank You!
