My coreopsis was great this year, but now it's not really flowering anymore. Is that normal or should I be deadheading it or something? Not really sure what to do with it right now. I live in zone 6.

Yep, done for the year. You can cut them back to get rid of the ugly seed heads (and keep them from multiplying).

It looks like Coreopsis 'Moonbeam'? If so it is supposedly sterile and doesn't self-seed. I've never had it self-seed here. It would be an awful task to deadhead it and it looks like there are a few buds left to open. You could try trimming the higher spent blooms with shears to tidy it up while missing as many unopened buds as you can.

I wasn't deadheading. Just cutting it down so it doesn't look so terrible. The few buds left aren't worth the hastle.
