As a young child I used to love to play with the seed pods of these plants. When they are ripe I would touch the pods and I delight when they split open with a silent pop to release the seeds. Hilarious! Maybe that's why the common name is Touch-Me-Not. Big Grin

Does anyone know what this is?
I was moving my pots today and notised that this small unknown plant I have is showing something that might be flowers. I think It must originally have been a tiny cutting. It is about 8 to 9" tall and the bottom of the stem seems to be woody.

magga, I am only guessing but it reminds me of a type of Euphorbia.

Yes you are right. I just found out on an Icelandic Cubit 'Garðaflora' that this is Euphorbia dulcis 'Chameleon' that a friend gave me last year. I think I shoult plant it in the ground no later than now nodding Thanks fór your assistance Greene.
