Sage (Salvia x jamensis Heatwave™ Blaze)

I've grown this gorgeous beauty for several years and I love it! I have had it in the ground and in large containers. It's wonderful!

I have grown 'blaze' for several years, as well. I grow one plant in the ground and one in a small pot. The one criticism I have is the blooms fade in the sun. I prefer the deep cherry color of fresh blooms.

There are several varieties of 'heatwave' salvias, but I've never seen most of them sold here. There was one place in the area that sold 'glimmer' for a couple years, but the third year, when I decided to try it, they no longer sold it.
