Sad What a bummer Jacki. Thank you for the lesson. That really is one tough sedum. Sure wish I could send you some Blue Boy. Mine are making offsets at a nice rate.

Rained this morning but beautiful this afternoon. Put out the new plant markers, replanted a couple of tiny offsets the birds pulled up and took some photos.

Mother Nature is just so mean sometimes. I bet that pot full was a pretty combination.

Luckily, I used spares Rolling my eyes.

I'll be making lots more planters to fill with our favorite plants - I need way more Sempervivum! I'm sold out until later in the summer, so I guess that's a good thing. I decided that I liked the New American Hybrids so much that I couldn't bear to sell them without getting some chicks first, so I've been going around and stealing the little tiny chicks! I can't find those seeds anymore - they came from Thompson and Morgan, and they have them on the UK website, but not on the Canadian or US ones. Crying

If anyone comes across them anywhere else, let me know.

Those are the same two links I found the other day Lynn. When you click on the 1st one, it takes you to the Thompson & Morgan site. I think I may have to order some too. Thumbs up

I was tempted, but I already have so much to take care of in the yard. Sure don't need to add another project right now. Will be fun to see what you get from it Chris.
The other sight lists the seeds as New American Hybrids seeds, wonder if that is the one you are looking for Jacki?

Both of those are the ones I found; the backyard gardener one seems awfully expensive don't you think? And the other one, on the Canadian site, they don't even have the listing any more. That was where I got my original batch from. Oh well, maybe next year they'll have them again. Like you, I already have enough on my plate Rolling my eyes.

Speaking of plates - how's that for a segue? I made three big planters and two smaller pinch pots with hypertufa - yes, I finally got some done. The planets aligned, I wasn't tired, and I had some time. It took all of about 45 minutes, from mixing the stuff to wrapping it all up in plastic. The three bigger ones are in the veggie garden, using the soil for molds. The pinch pots are in plastic bags, but not ziploc ones. They're actually easier to use while you're forming it. Pictures to follow when they come out of the molds. Lots of fun.
