I don't recognize the plant in the first photo; the 2nd one looks to me like an evening primrose (Oenothera). There are a lot of people here that are much better at identifying plants than I am, so I'm sure you'll be getting more replies soon Smiling

Look at Inula species, like Inula helenium.
