Hi pirl. Thanks for your answer. I own an amaryllis and this plant is definitely different. It has narrower leaves with no septal division. They're also longer and grow all around (like a casket).

Hi Carol! It looked like Clivia miniata to me too but clivia has bigger leaves and their disposition is fan-like.

I thought about that too, but the texture of the leaf looks right, and I can't remember how the leaf arrangement was as seedlings.

Perhaps one of the Crinum lily species.

Clivia for me as well.

If the leaf sort of folds in the middle it could be a Lily of the Nile or Agapanthus.
