I was wondering if there's a way to use the search function to screen for specific hybridizers. I used that feature a lot at Dave's Garden and since I don't use that site anymore, it'd be great if we could do that here.

You can search by hybridizer in most of the plant specific databases. In the The Irises Database for example, you can simply click on the "search by characteristics" hyperlink and you'll end up on this page: http://garden.org/plants/group/irises/search/. Hybridizer is one of the (many) search options.

Hi Kent, Thanks so much. That's great to know. I didn't realize plant searches were to be found in specific plant databases. I checked out the one for irises. It's wonderful, even better than the one at Dave's Gardens.

You are most welcome.

This article might be helpful as well. It just scratches the surface of what can done with the custom databases here, but it might help you get started.
