Variegated Vinca Vine - Love It Or Hate It?

I seem to have a love-hate relationship with the variegated vinca vine. I know its invasive tendencies, but I still admire it for its hardiness, its striking blue-purple flowers, and its lovely variegated foliage.

Thread OP

Definitely invasive, but in a good way. I just don't know what to do with the trails now that they've moved beyond the garden bed onto the sidewalk. I've cut them back for now. Can I plant them in buckets and hang them from a shepherd hook? They will trail down and take root, but at least it gives me some height.
Any ideas will be appreciated.

I'm going to plant cuttings in some deck rail planters I have.
