Hey! :)
I believe that i found some wild grape in my backyard.
I wanted to be completely sure though even thought most things seem to match

Thanks!

Oh yeah, and the leaves have are not smooth-edged, they are toothed
I may go back for a leaf if necessary

Could it be Muscadine?

Hello!
The inside of the berry was a deep purple and not transparent like muscadine and only had one seed
Thanks for the suggestion though! Smiling

If you're not certain it would indeed help to see a leaf and also a stem if possible.

It looks much larger than the fruit on our peppervines.

I'd be interested to see more of the plant.

Thread OP

Hi everyone!
Thanks for the help once again!
Turns out it wasn't moonseed at least because I'm not dead yet haha
I got a leaf though, hopefully that'll help with which variation it is :)
Its pretty sour too. Not at that sweet
The vine itself is reddish, and older vines are just woody

Ah yes, and on a side note, the bunch I picked looked shiny and black, but most of the others had the gray-blue hue

The leaf and recent description again makes me think of a grape similar to Muscadine.
