Thread OP

I have several of these bulbs left from my father that have been able ro survive in a couple of beds that are by the house thru the Michigan winters and the last few years they have been blooming in the spring they have not gotten as tall as when my father was growing them (he had one bloom that was 9 ft tall from a 22 lb bulb). Today as my sister was weeding she found the stalk of a bloom from the spring that seems to have been polinated and is going to seed has this ever been documented before?
