Is there a way to 'take it back' if it is done by mistake??

Lestv said:Lilli - yes, it has a fail safe, it asks you if you really want to make a report. This is to protect from mistakes, and also to keep people from abusing the system. There is a full explanation by Dave in the Site Talk forum.
Henhouse said:I'm sorry it came to that, and I'm sorry that this gal just didn't get it... but frankly, the tone of the forum had shifted considerably with her posts. I always felt comfortable with all you folks, but it was easier for me to back away and not participate in the forum, rather than be constantly irritated and made uncomfortable by one person.
I'm sure it was a hard decision to make for those who complained. I've chatted with most of you for a while now, and I think of all of you as kind and generous folks, so I know this wasn't a matter of anyone just being mean-spirited.

I completely agree with you Sherry. I felt the same way you did, but quite frankly, I was moving towards making a complaint or opening a discussion with the admins to alleviate the situation (I had considered writing to Betsy about it, but felt I would not have made an argument that would have taken root - yes, pun intended). The interesting thing about it; the "software" kicked her off. There is an algorithm within the software that "kicks you off". It is automatic. Very interesting

Sherry -- I'm so glad that you brought this up. It is a shame that she just didn't *get it*, as you said. But the forums feel totally different now that she is gone -- has anybody else noticed that? Like the tension is gone. Everybody is happy!!!
