This has always been one of my favorite gardens and I love seeing how it changes from time to time, especially when Mike finds more castoffs and spiffs them up to use them as garden decor. That wonderful angel and all of the cats are so very, very cool!

I hope everyone's clicking on the photos to enlarge them. A lot of the details aren't visible in the smaller photos.

You put a lot of work and love into that garden, Mike, and it shows.

Mike, what a truly artistic and beautiful creation your garden is!

The ornaments , statues and arbors are so well integrated among the plantings.

A joy to see it. Thank you! Lovey dubby

Thanks so much to all of you for your compliments, especially to Sharon and Trish for making this possible ! This garden does go through periodic changes (as I get addicted to one plant or another...you can all relate, I'm sure !) and the garden art comes and goes as well, depending on what I find in the alleys around here. LOL
Zuzu's garden has been an enormous inspiration for mine as have many others that you all share your pictures of.
Next Spring, this will be featured in a magazine called Flea Market Gardening. I have yet to even see a copy of this magazine since it isn't on the racks here, so if any of you know where to get it, let me know !
In comparison to the size of gardens the rest of you have, this is comparable to a postage stamp. It's only 2500 sq. ft. and I ran out of planting space years ago ! Right now I'm considering some major chages...someone stop me !

Mike, your gardens reflect you to a tee! it is apparent when you look at them. One doesn't even have to actually know you to see that. Marvelous & wondrous!

Thank you Mike. And thank you Trish & Sharon.

Yours is one of my favorite gardens, Mike. I loved my CA gardening and I love the way you are doing yours!! It takes some great creativity to fill a space the way you have. A space doesn't have to be huge to be full of special things. Kudos on top of kudos. Thumbs up

Congratulations on being featured in Flea Market Gardening Magazine next spring! I picked up a copy earlier this year at the grocery store or Home Depot or somewhere (can't remember) but I haven't seen it on the shelves again. I just googled and kept getting some other website but then found this facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/...

It seems it's a once a year publication ... February. I will look for it again early next year!

Thanks, Lynn, Ann, Tee, JoAnn, Charleen and Lin !
Lin: I think you're right about it being a once a year publication. I did what you did and came up with that same first site. I don't belong to facebook, so I don't know about that. I'll ck. out the link.
The people who came and took the pictures do photography for a many other magazines, not just gardening themed ones, and they're hard to get hold of via emails. They sent me copies of the photos they took but I was afraid to give them to Sharon for fear I'd get sued or something like that...ya just never know anymore. For all I know they might not ever even use it in ANY issue. Oh well !

Mike's garden is beautiful. I'm loving these garden tours.
About that Flea Market Magazine. I got the first one. Loved it. I got another issue, not sure if it is #2 or 3.So it wasn't a once a year one. The first issue was a keeper, the other one I got,not so much.JMO.
