Hi Kate, acorns are the commodity used here to purchase tickets for the raffle. Click on the link to see how you can earn acorns. I've given you 5 acorns, which will buy one ticket. You can go to your profile to see how many acorns you have.

When you go to the August raffle link below, go to the bottom of the prizes to select "Buy tickets" to purchase a ticket for the raffle.

@Onewish1, Allison, how did you get that screen shot? I don't know if my version of Windows does that.

I'm pretty sure she took a screenshot on her phone. Smiling But you can use the snipping tool on Windows Vista, 7, 8, and 10. It allows you to customize what exact part of the screen you want. To get it:

1. Press the Windows Key and the letter "R" at the same time. It will open the run box.

2. Type in (without the quotation marks) "SnippingTool.exe".

I hope that helps!

Just furthering the off topic-ness, but you can usually just use the print screen button on the keyboard and then use ctrl+v to paste the screenshot into word, paint, etc. and can easily crop and save from there.

(Of course if you have a printer hooked up it will literally print the screen)

Sometimes you need to press the Windows key (looks like the Windows logo) along with the print screen key.

I will have to try the windows +print screen. I only have XP at home and it does not have the snipping tool. I have it at work though and love it.

Thanks!
