Thread OP

I am trying to identify the name of this Fuchsia. It has large flowers and to date I have not seen larger in this colour. The plant is upright. From browsing photos I am thinking "brutus" . Perhaps someone could enlighten me ? Many thanks.

Welcome! I used to collect fuchsias many years ago until I moved to a climate where it is harder to keep them going but I'm too rusty and out of date to guess at an ID. You could try the fuchsia forum here in case the experts there don't visit this plant id forum.
