I've been making concrete leaves and mushrooms for a long time, I just painted my first 2 leaves. I used concrete stain then added metallic acrylic paint.

Since I'm new to the painting, suggestions would be grateful. Thx

Brenda,
Love your concrete garden! You have some beautiful pieces of garden art.

I am thinking of doing some concrete pieces very soon...Can you share instructions for the mushroom stalks and tops? I love the one that has the small holes in the pattern on the mushroom top. It reminds me of a lotus flower that has expelled its seeds. I also love the leaf that looks like a lotus. I have some that are nearly 2 feet across growing in my koi pond, and had not even considered using those as molds--great ideas!
