Went down to my garden today not expecting to find too much and was totally surprised to find this beast! It's an heirloom cucumber that was hiding under some leaves. I only harvested five cucumbers this year - pretty sad, I know - but three of them were very large, two I managed to grab before they become monstrous.

A very nice sized cucumber. Sightly over prime but I do know how they can hide no matter how much you look.

I was surprised by how crunchy it was. Expected it to be somewhat soft. I sliced it up and marinated it in Apple Cider Vinegar, sugar, salt and celery seed. It was scrumptious!! Sticking tongue out
