Thread OP

I have been wondering if I buy flowers, nerry bushes and vegetables that are NOT certified organic, can it eventually become organic at home if I don't apply anything unorganic on them? I can imagine all the 'fertilizers' used to pump these flowers and vegetables up. Thanks

Well, that wouldn't fit the definition of Certified Organic.

But I always bought regular starts of my veggies at the nursery and then gardened organically. I have felt my home grown food was better than the organic produce at the store.

Welcome to NGA, @Flowergirl99 !

That might be an issue if you are trying to obtain an official certification as an organic grower; but for your own use, or all practical purposes, if you otherwise follow organic growing practices I'd say your berries and vegetables would be essentially organic.
