@PerfectPlants I received my four roses this morning and quickly brought them inside to unpack them before I had to leave for some meetings in town. They came very well packaged and I was pleasantly surprised to see all the blooms. As I was getting ready to go I kept smelling the roses and it made me smile. Thank you very much. I will sit down in the next few days and write a review in the green pages and take some photos. I met with a client today and she had knockout roses planted in a bad spot that were entirely to large for the space and I suggested some of these smaller drift series and she was thrilled to hear of a tough and smaller rose to replace her knockouts. I hope to be placing an order with you soon.

@Esperanza you smelled a fragrance from your drift rose. I thought the only one that was fragrant was Popcorn.

I love the smell of fresh rose foliage. Maybe that's the scent Esperanza's talking about.

@Cinta and @zuzu

I did not think they had fragrance either, but sitting on my table in the kitchen there was a really nice rose smell. It might be lost in a open garden, but inside it was roses not fresh foliage I was smelling. Like I said it was a pleasant surprise. The new opening blooms are the ones with the scent.

Okay I will test that when I get mine. I purchased the one drift rose that they said had fragrance but I think I fried it because life got away from me and it did not get watered. It is not looking good. We had record high temps and no rain this year.

You are very welcome! Thank you for your honest review and nice words!

I find the sweet variety of drift to have the most fragrance out of the various colors. The sweet also has a pretty double petaled flower like the knock out roses do, I have a bed at my home with double red knock outs in the back with sweet drifts in the front and enjoy the combination.

Happy Planting!

Great choices Kurt!.
\We all have to remember to post beautiful pics next year and remind everyone what great vendors that are out there. It is few and far between good people we can order from anymore at least from the ones I have been dealing with.

Santa Rosa has been one of my go to every year.

I received my roses today from @PerfectPlants , thank you soo much they were beautifully packed and arrived looking like they just walked across the street.

@Esperanza
You are right they are fragrant. I am surprised that this is never mentioned in any of the descriptions. I may use one on the patio close to the sitting area since they are fragrant.
