I have a Gymno cactus with fruit that ripened to pink. Now it split open naturally revealing the brown seeds inside. Are they ready for harvest? Should I pull the fruit off, its still attatched and I don't want the seeds to blow away.

Those seed pods are ready to distribute the seeds so, Yes, remove them. They may have to be cut off to keep from damaging the plant.
