Thread OP

I planted a panicle hydrangea in a north facing bed which receives afternoon sun for approximately four hours. Is this enough for the hydrangea to flower, or should it be transplanted to a full sun bed?

Hi NWOhiogardener, Welcome!

Our database info shows full sun to part shade as well as partial to dappled shade so I'd think it would do okay. Late Panicle Hydrangea (Hydrangea paniculata Quick FireĀ®)

Hopefully someone who grows that beauty will be along soon with advice.
