The weatherman is telling us that we got less than a quarter inch of rain for the entire month of October... Coupled with the record breaking high temps, you can imagine what it's doing to the garden, and the forest....

I water very little of my garden, and still... Well ran dry this wknd.
I turned off the pump as quickly as the water stopped coming out, but... Still... A nasty surprise.... Deep water well drilled in 07, the driller said I had plenny of water... Could pump it all over the property.... Guess not.

Don't squat with yer spurs on!

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved

Thumbs down That's so sad, Stone. We're not quite that dry. No rain in October except what we got from Hurricane Matthew. We received less than an inch last week. Nothing to brag about Sighing! I hope that things get better for all of us from here on. Thumbs up
