This is one of three Weigela shrubs we grow. This one is 'Minuet' while the others are not identified by name. All these plants are hummingbird and butterfly 'magnets'. I encourage all gardeners to try at least one. This one is about 5' X 5' at present, and withstands some shaping by trimming dead wood.

Really pretty, Leon! I'll have to research it. I've never grown it or even seen it in person.

We enjoy these in May when they bring out the hummingbirds and butterflies. The one used in the banner is a darker color flower called Minuet shown here. The third picture is a lighter pink, but very heavy bloomer.

Thank You! Everyone for the acorn, thumbs and comments. I had three shots of a hummingbird feeding back in 2010. I'll share them here since they relate to this banner. Again thanks!
