My first bloom on one of my brugmansia - an Arborea that I grew from seed 2 years ago - has opened. I have had to go check 3 times to make sure that it is still there.

David, that's so exciting for you, but what a tease for us! Well done, a very cool thing in MO!

Isn't the fragrance deviiiiiiine? I will be out front smelling the air at dark. I think my tree is going to bloom again tonight. It's loaded with flowers.

I only had one bloom and it is gonzo. But 2 more are coming along. [My other mature brug is showing no signs of blooming.]
In the meantime, I have a Moonflower (Ipomea) blooming (earliest ever for me thanks to a very early start in my basement) which smells yummy and my Ylang Ylang vine is blooming. It smells sorta like Juicy Fruit gum. 2nd bloom finished tonight and they fall off when done but still smell nice. Have ~ 5 more blooms coming on as well.
