Always a weak grower here (I may still have a piece), though it is pretty.

Note to self: upload pictures of Cherry Chapeau.

Since I am at work right now, I can't really give a full review of CC, but I know I have pictures of it from this year and I just love this bicolor. It definitely gets the registered height and I may even have a picture of the branching ( Crossing Fingers! ).

I just got CC in 2014 from a friend and it has done well for me.

Be back later to edit!!

@beckygardener, I forgot to come back and add pictures of this one. I'm trying to go back through the old DOTD's and find some I need to review.

This picture is all I have showing the branching on Cherry Chapeau.

Some days the pink is a little more saturated and the color can vary. Looking at the pictures in the database, it can be very rose-colored or can be almost peachy.

7/02/2016, 2:27pm - same bloom four hours later. Still pretty, but can see some dulling of the colors. Cherry Chapeau doesn't have a thick substance

I'm a sucker for bitones and this one is no exception. It has done just okay in my garden. I've had it for 9 years and it has never been moved. I think it would do better if I divided it, because I only have one picture of it from last year showing that it did not do well.

Purchased mainly for watermark hybridizing, I received fans of this 40 year old cultivar from @blue23rose in April 2023 and had blooms in < 2 months after potting. A smaller pot with a couple of fans bloomed first:
