Not All Morning Glories Are Thugs; Some Are Very Friendly!

Many gardeners hate morning glories, thinking they are invasive and can take over the garden, especially purpureas. They can be troublesome if not controlled, but it's easy to keep them from getting out of control.

Really enjoyed those photos, Ronnie. As a child in Michigan I think the Heavenly Blues were the first and only morning glories I grew. Absolutely love them. It is illegal to sell the seeds here but I have been able to get hold of some seeds and grow them each year in pots any ways. Wish I had access to all the wonderful varieties you are growing. They seem not to start blooming till near September here and the heat does stress them some, but I keep growing them. Lovey dubby

I'm glad you enjoyed them Linda, I really love growing them and sharing seeds.
It happens in a flash, but the memory of it last forever. It can not be borrowed or stolen, and it is of no earthly good until it is given away. So if in your hurry you meet someone who is too weary to smile, leave him one of yours, for no one needs a smile quite as much as he who has none to give...

Thank You! I love them so much! So frustrating that they make you feel like a criminal here if you grow them. Crying
