When I went to your May 15, 2012 blog, I found my answer..... "The kniphofia really pops against the blue anchusa." What variety of anchusa is it? I didn't know anchusa got that tall and wide.

I found it in the database! Hurray! Or least I found a pic of yours showing it was it.

But then on Apr 30, 2012, you said you got Anchusa azurea “Alkanet”

(and its in the same spot in your garden behind the torch lilies, so I'm confused)

(there isn't a database listing for Anchusa azurea 'Alkanet' yet)

Don't think I have the space for it and looks like it not listed as being a container plant candidate. Sighing!
