I have an ornamental pear but the "fruit" is maybe dime size. The "fruit" on this one is about quarter size. And the tree is loaded. Anyone know what it is & if its edible?

Callery pear, invasive.... And yes, I eat the pears...
You need to get them after they're fully ripe... They can be a bit sour.

Edit:
Any number of those so-called Bradford's are also known as callery.... The original deal was that they weren't supposed to be self fruitful, but then the nurseries brought in other varieties.... And suddenly all the Bradford's were fruiting....

I have them next to my real pear trees... To help with pollination.
