It's BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!!!!

Thanks... I must say, I don't recall seeing these for sale in garden centers locally.
But I will not be without them from here on.

Kristi, Lowes usually carries them starting in June here in Phoenix.

I'll have to keep an eye out here. Perhaps I've just not paid attention. Thanks...

You know... here it is at the end of January and while working out in the GH yesterday I spied this bloom. The plant has really grown and has bloomed sporadically all winter.

Purslane Love!

I bought some mixed color portulaca seed yesterday and will try to get it planted this weekend. I have seen a few sprigs of wild purslane already.

The wild purslane never grew here, or at least for me.
I hope your seed some up!

Well, from October till now. This purslane is still blooming although the leaves have taken on a reddish hue.


And it has inspired me to purchase another. This one in yellow. I found many baskets of it at the flea market a couple months ago. Many different colors and even double blooms. I resisted temptation and only bought this one...
