Mini Greenhouse from Old Floppy Disk Storage Cases

By herrwood

You remember floppy disks (if not, ask your parents). Everyone had them and saved copies of backup disks in these boxes . Well, it's time to give them a new life as mini greenhouses.

What a great way to reuse what was once a necessity in lots of homes. Nice tip Ed Hurray!

I agree

Very clever use for those cases! (too bad I got rid of mine long ago...)

Great idea that I would never have thought of!

Now I have to find them ... they must be in one of these cardboard boxes ... (*)

(*) My walls are lined with over 100 cardboard boxes. Maybe 120-150.

Does anyone remember how many floppy disks you needed to install Windows 95?

LOL -- probably one?

I remember having a computer at an office I worked in that didn't even have a hard drive... in the day of the "original floppies." One slot for the program disk, one slot for a disk if you wanted to save a file. Rolling on the floor laughing

I'm such a pack rat! I recently threw them out. I believe it was 8 or 10. *Blush*
