Thanks everyone we have 4 boys already ranging in age from 7-15. This will be our first little girl and I'm super excited. We haven't figured out the full name yet but her middle name will be Adele after my wife's grandmother who passed away about 6 years ago. so it's _________ Adele Erdy. Any suggestions are more than welcome but the kids want it to start with something besides C,D,M, or J.

Love the name Adele and I think Alaina Adele sounds nice together. Lucky little girl to have 4 big brothers!

She'll have a hard time landing a date when she gets old enough thanks to her brothers.

The boys will have fun running the dates off while she gets frustrated.

You're gonna have a ball watching her grow up and seeing what her personality will be like.

Thanks for the suggestions Philip and Lin. We already have a Kelly in the family so unforntely that one wont work but I agree it sounds nice. Lin Alaina is already on our list and so far is my aunts favorite name out of what we picked. My wife also likes it but can't make up her mind on what's her favorite. Thank you both for the suggestions.
Amanda I have a little sister and oh at the boyfriends I've ran off and still sometimes have to pull to the side and have a talk with I'm sure she's going to hate having 4 brothers when it comes to her dating life but she might not be a fan of me when that day comes either. I just hope she at least waits until she's around 30 before she starts dating Each one of my kids personalities are so different I swear sometimes you wouldn't even think they where related. I can only imagine what she's going to be like. Maybe she'll be the only one out of the bunch to enjoy gardening or maybe she'll just go pick all my flowers I'm trying to hybridize Either way she will be loved beyond words as are all my kids.

I grew up with 4 brothers my age. It just made me good at sports and gave me nerves of steel when being bullied or teased. It was wonderful all in all.

My brothers are my best friends and No! it doesn't run the boys off. In fact, all the young men who are best friends of her brothers... (There will be at least a dozen or more). Will get a crush on her as she turns into a woman.

It will be Dad that will have to guard her at the gate. 😉🌺

The problem you have with brothers and their best friends is that all brothers know their best friend is a great guy.... because their friend always wants to help him mow the lawn, build things, and do his chores for him.... especially when his "Kid Sister" is home. 😜😉

We have friends of over 42 years and he's retired from law enforcement. They have a son and a daughter who are now 40 and 37 years old and married with children of their own but I remember when their daughter was about 13 and she asked her parents what age she'd have to be before they'd allow her to go on a date. Her mom said "Go ask your dad" and her dad told her she could start dating at 17 but she wouldn't be allowed to go in a car with a boy and she said "Well, how will we go on a date then?" Her father told her that he'd be driving them in his patrol car.
