Visited a park with native planting

This plant was dead with only seed pods 3-4 foot tall single stem
with multi branches 2/3 the way up

Any Idea ?

It looks like there are two plants. The long brown seed pods may be a type of Senna

Edited to add:
The dried flowers near the top look like Queen Anne's Lace (guessing).
Sunset Zone 28, AHS Heat Zone 9, USDA zone 8b~~"Leaf of Faith"

Green I think you are correct on the senna
I looked it up and found it a native Indiana plant . I knew from the pods I would be looking at something that looked like a locust .
Yes the other seed pod is queen anns lace.
