I'm bringing mine in this evening -- we're finally calling for lows in the 30s. None of mine are as tall as Figaro, so I should be ok

They'll be so glad to get in from the chill they should cooperate (one hopes)

I can relate, too, Sharon. Enjoyed reading this episode. But, as you probably already know, you ain't got nothin' on us. Wilma and I lugged eight Figaro-sized plants up a flight of stairs and around two corners. Plus many smaller ones. And we're both 70 years old. I'm sooo glad I married a physical education major!

Ha Larry!!
At least I don't have those stairs, though I sure would like to have your tropical room. I'm telling you, Figaro outweighs me by far. It wasn't a pretty scene.
I've got a pretty good picture of it in my mind. Would have loved to hear those blue words!

(Thanks for the opportunity to finally use the "shrugger!" )

Skateboards are not just for young people. They can be a gardener's best friend! give me a skateboard & I can move a plant.

Thanks, I hadn't thought about that. Right in front of my nose. But who has a skateboard they can take a photo of & submit to co-op the tip? Mine is still down south so I can't take a photo of it. And we're renting in a 55 plus (heavy on the + if you know what I mean) so no one around here has a skateboard.
And here I am always moaning about the DH's dumpster diving. He comes up with this perfectly good skateboard & I say, "What the *&%$ are we going to do with that? Put it back!" Do you know how many things we've used that thing for? Let me count the ways......
Sharon, you may need a piece of 5/8" plywood 2' long & 1' wide to get you over the hump in the door or anything else with a hump. But the plywood is thin enough to roll the skateboard onto & then teeter totters over bumps & humps.
