I agree, don't like going directly from a hot summer to freezing temps. We need a month of nice fall 70 degree weather.

Another storm came in yesterday afternoon. Weather service as usual were kind of off on this. Very extreme winds and .30 or rain which showed us the AC people had not fixed the roof leak properly. Glare

This morning was 46F...I think. I remember looking at the thermometer just not sure I'm remembering what it said. It's been one of those days and it evidently started first thing Whistling Sunny by 10am and the temp went up to 65F with a cool breeze.

Oh no Linda, that's not good at all!
Still not great, but a little cooler than your 100's Kelli.
We had the 80's to 40's swing last week, chilly!

Crying Ginny we are not used to humidity here, it usually runs well under 10%. Actually feels cooler near 100 when there is no humidity then what we had today. Hilarious!

Tucson just got slammed with heavy rain. .80 in the rain gauge.

Well took a while to find my way here this morning with all the changes being made on the site. I don't know why companies think change is so good. There was nothing wrong with the way the site operated before . I think sometimes companies think change is good just for change sake........I don't ! Same thing went down when Ivillage took over Gardenweb . And then again when Houzz took over Ivillage. They bought the site becauseit was good (one might say excellent even ) .....then messed with it and now for example the seed exchange site on Houzz is virtually dead . I dont know if I will stay with this site either now . when I have to spend time searching for what I was able to automatically get to before .....well , my time is valuable to me and I dont much care to spend 15 to 30 minutes searching for something I was able to get to with one click before . My recommendation would be to leave well enough alone !

To make this post legit , it is raining here has been for 2 days . Clay is turning to muck and I am once again getting not much done in the gardens . Trying to work around the deluges is no fun. South of us near Michigan border cities were declaring states of emergency due to flooding .

Oh I forgot to mention , I got the newsletter and had a great belly laugh where it said "Access to the thousands of pages of great gardening information is now much more accessible, and the site works beautifully on mobile devices like phones and tables." Didnt know my table was a mobile device Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha !

There has been a lot of flooding on the freeways near me. After raining for 4 days in a row, our rain gauge said almost 4 inches of rain. Not raining at the moment but scattered showers are predicted today with highs only in the lower 60's.

For Those who take sunrise or sunset photos, you know in a moment the view changes. I just missed the best colors from this morning.
