I really like the daylily in the background of this picture posted by Lilydaydreamer. She got it as a seedling and doesn't know what cross it is. She suggested Ima Bigtimer as one possibility. Can other gardeners give me other suggestions of a daylily that looks similar to the one in her picture? Thanks for your help!

Thank you so much for posting the photos--I would welcome as many as I can get! I like to see all my choices Smiling So far, the photo of Open My eyes seemed like exactly what I wanted, until I checked into it further and found that it is described as 'orange'. Yesterday I was checking out Sabine Bauer, which I also thought might be a good choice. The daylily in the photo I first posted seems to have a picotee (thin) edge rather than a very thick edge, and appears to be a darker, blue or black shade of purple.

Sabina Baur might not be happy in your climate. It grew here for a number of years and didn't like it when the winters were harsh.

That will vary depending on soil and climate. Here, OME is rather cream and TAL OF GASCONE rather orange.
